The Phantom’s makeup at the end of the 2004 movie will always be an anti-climactic let down, given how high budget the rest of the film is. I do stand by that.

I used to be a hater of the 2004 movie but I’ve come around on it bc it’s actually a gorgeous film. That said, the original London cast recording is my favorite version of Phantom and will always have a huge place in my heart 💖✨

The way you played with shape in this piece is GORGEOUS, I love the way the longer feathers lightly curl over each other, and the framing the back wing is doing. But also I hear ya, wings are incredibly intricate and complicated :’D
