perhaps a hot take (nuance edition): adults should only ride bikes on a sidewalk in situations where it is actually impossible to ride the bike in the street AND the foot traffic is low. like a big stroad like this one. otherwise bike in the road. people need to be respectful of pedestrians

youtube has introduced "restricted mode" where if its algorithm thinks you could be a child, it hides any videos that discuss evil adult topics like uhhh ... queer people or racism. check your settings to see if it was turned on for your account without your knowledge!

It is indicative of a deep rot within our democracy that so many seem to think the pathway to getting results from our politicians is to give them only praise. Meanwhile, both CVS and Walgreens are not offering any COVID vaccines now because the 2025-2026 version isn't approved yet. Why can't I just get last year's version if this year's version will likely never be approved???? Anyone know where I can get a vaccine before it's banned entirely??

In this recent situation, Hoku and Stovey did not share links. Other people did. In 2024 when Stovey punched a nazi, she only shared links when people insisted on it, and did so while reassuring us she would be ok if she didn't get donations. How the fuck is that "exaggerat[ing] the need for funds"
