Yrelia ran her fingers through his hair. "You're turning into a proper wizard." "Last I checked, I had always been one." She laughed. "I meant you're looking like one. You're hair has grown a lot since coming home." She started to scratch is chin. "Will you grow your beard, too?" "Ha! So that I look like Elminster? I think not, my lady. I shall remain your charming husband for the time being." He knew what she was doing. Speaking of lighthearted matters to keep their minds on the positive. To talk as if things were normal, if just slightly, to keep their morale up as much as possible. Just for one moment, to forget about the chaos and just remember that they love each other so much and that they could handle this together, just like always. "Oh, Lia! You really should be resting!" Morena fussed. "I'm alright," Yrelia said with a tired smile. "Staying in bed wouldn't help me at all." weak nature. "You're growing pale," he mumbled. He reached out and felt her face. "No fever. Good." She let out a breath. "I am a bit woozy." He leaned in to kiss her forehead. "Not to worry, my love. I will promptly lead you to our bedroom." Yrelia smiled only for her eyes to widen and a very cute squeak to come out of her throat. "Gale, you'll throw your back out!" Gale grinned at her as held her in a cradle carry. "Lia, I assure you that I will be perfectly fine. Besides, you're quite light." He started to walk up the stairs. "And you must agree that you fainting and falling down the stairs is the last thing your head needs right now." She groaned. "You're right." "Ah-ha! I've now been told that I'm right twice today! Careful, love, I might be difficult to live with now." She let out a noise that was close enough to a tired chuckle.
