this started as me wanting to draw a fashion spread with lex and the joker in formal wear (i love formal wear). i drew the bottom panel, then was like hmmm actually it's funnier if they're all beat to shit, and then the single fashion image became a dumb comic. this is how must of my art goes
BLOOOOOOGH ALT TEXT IT'S TIME FOR ALT TEXT it's a comic of lex luthor and the joker being super best friends PANEL ONE: the joker is tying lex's bow tie. they are in white tie because white tie is so cool. tuxedos are dumb. white tie forever, baby. anyway you know the joker is good at tying bow ties because of the whole purple suit thing. he probably practiced a lot! you don't just poof a suit onto yourself, and you know harley's ass can't tie a tie. LEX: thank you, by the way. i have the worst time with these stupid things. JOKER: of course! if i'm going to kidnap you, you have to look good. i have standards. PANEL TWO: super wide shot of lex and the joker walking and talking. it's an aaron sorkin walk and talk! do the kids even know what that is? does anyone? i never watched west wing. LEX: i still think this is a bad idea. JOKER: would you relax? batman is not here. superman is not here. this is just you and me and a bunch of rich assholes that we are going to scam out of a LOT of money. LEX: but i can just give you the money. JOKER: lex, please. life is about the journey, not the destination! PANEL THREE: SPONGEBOB TITLE CARD because you can put any damn thing you want in comics. i don't know why comics are so bad, actually. SPONGEBOB TITLE CARD: THREE HOURS LATER PANEL FOUR: lex and the joker sitting on a chair. lex is in the chair, the joker is sitting on the armrest. lex is drinking. they are beat to shit and laughing. LEX: ...i have GOT to stop listening to you. JOKER: you really do. DAMN, THAT'S THE END!
