We have a couple old Star Wars games running off a PC and they’re rebooting randomly when they aren’t being played (so not a big issue) but Namco wants to charge us hundreds of dollars to send it to them just so it can be reflashed like we aren’t capable of doing that. It’s wild.

Namco also won’t let us repair their shit lol and this is probably why. As soon as the computer needs a repair or software support they want us to mail it in to them for a huge repair fee

Hell yeah! What really drew me in was the cool format for the story. It’s told from the perspective of a scholar recounting the events for the King in hopes of sparing the main character. So it’s littered with footnotes of this guy providing context and cracking jokes

Ruin of Kings by Jenn Lyons is the best fantasy novel I’ve read since I was a kid.
