St. Clair West Station. We might be almost there.

Toronto’s newest flatiron, 1071 King, a rental building by Hullmark. As seen from the GO Kitchener Line.

Here is a video of GO Kitchener Line, Union Pearson Express, and Line 5 Eglinton trains operating at Mount Dennis Station. It will be one of the best-connected transit hubs in Toronto. It also includes a massive TTC bus terminal.

West of Mount Dennis, the Line 5 Eglinton West Extension is progressing. Here at Jane/Eglinton, we see the elevated guideway being built. This intersection will also be home to an elevated station (which will likely be called “Eglinton Flats”?).

Mount Dennis GO/UP Express station is officially open. A community without rapid transit options is suddenly only 16 mins away from downtown Toronto. Now, we wait for Line 5 Eglinton to open to “complete” this transit hub.

Any guesses where I’m headed?

Another Line 5 Eglinton observation re: speed. While driving, I “raced” a train between Sunnybrook Park Station and Pharmacy Station. We essentially kept pace with each other the entire trip, despite the train having to stop at stations along the way. Traffic was medium (6PM).

A silver lining: despite the westbound Line 5 Eglinton track being blocked at Golden Mile Station, light rail trains kept running. The line’s various crossover tracks meant that trains could “detour” around the problem area. Good to see.

Golden Mile Station on Line 5 Eglinton. How does anyone even pull off messing up so badly?

The new GO Transit maps in trains are great, and include the TTC’s rapid transit network. We need more unified regional wayfinding like this!

A huge amount of transit construction in this picture, including:
- a rebuilt Exhibition GO station 🚆
- a new Ontario Line subway station 🚇
- a tunnel boring machine launch shaft for the OL 🪏

Toronto’s Liberty Village neighbourhood is set to become extremely transit-connected

#RapidTO streetcar priority lanes on Bathurst Street are painted between Lake Shore and Fort York. Looking forward to the rest of the work being completed all the way to Bloor soon! #Toronto

Stupid Toronto-area drivers, case number 54378: truck driver drives into TTC St. Clair streetcar right-of-way, gets stuck blocking rush hour 512 and bus service.

Absolute brain dead behaviour.

I’ve always loved the TTC’s Queen’s Quay (Ferry Docks) Station. It’s unique because it’s the only underground streetcar station that’s not an interchange with the subway, and you cross the tracks at-grade to access the opposite platform.

Future Waterfront East streetcar right of way on Ookwemin Minising island. We really need the Federal Government to help get this project funded.

Toronto’s new Biidaasige Park is excellent. Renaturalizing the mouth of the Don River, adding native plants, and creaking kilometres of new public trails was a monumental task, so congrats @waterfrontoronto.bsky.social!

Streetcars in their own lanes = bare minimum. Do this more Toronto.

Welcome to Toronto Allies and Morrison and congrats on your office opening!

Toronto angular plane rules are frustrating. Look at all that potential but unbuilt housing!

Even though we always have room for improvement, nowhere else in the Americas has the sheer will to build transit the way Toronto and Ontario do.

Pictured is an entire structure being built to protect the Ontario Line’s Osgoode station construction from the weather.
