I enjoyed this book from back at that time, including writing many of these games on a VIC-20 with a tape cassette for storage.

To be clear, that's just saying that Republicans think it's important or somewhat important, not that they don't think it is important at all, right? Only 3% of Americans in that poll thought it wasn't at all important, yes?

Seems to be a strange surge in net exports in their data that's responsible for the jump? From their website:

Also some surprises in the credit ratings of states, with states like Florida and Idaho having a higher credit rating than the US as a whole (though that may change soon).

The list of countries that now have a higher credit rating than the United States is interesting, I think.

So much terrible crap going on that a nearly 3% drop in the stock market today isn't even headline news.

Yeah, when someone blocks someone else on Bluesky, it removes their quoted posts too, so that's why it just says "Blocked" now and people can't see the quoted post anymore. Here's what the person said if you're curious:

This one, used in an article on a perhaps similar theme, is great, especially with a camera in the photo. Probably not free to use, but it is a good example:

I still post to Twitter, but it's a waste of time. I've got view counts in the teens (!) now for content I bother to put up there. While some of that is that many of the 2k+ people that follow me there are now gone, most I think is that the algorithms now don't show people who don't pay.
