I think Zelensky is stringing along negotiations (for good reason).
He and Ukraine knows these guarentees are worthless, just like the Budapest Memorandum. They only have impact if it means the US breaks something by not obeying them, for instance art 5 would be broken if it was ignored.

I don't dislike Starmer but he is a manager, not a leader.
He's repeatedly shown a lack of political nous - and ambition - and isn't improving.
He cannot offer the vision needed to win the next election. Getting a competent leader in place now will help avoid a RefUK government.
