Remembering the time we went to a science fair at the local university, and there was a display about how tiny solar panels can power toy cars (& potentially real ones), but it was cloudy, I happened to have a UV flashlight in my bag, and gave it to the guy so he could keep showing how it worked. 🤷♀️

Cup two (instant coffee, s'mores syrup and not enough cream) down. Finished some paperwork that was about to be late, now fighting to get shifts for TIFF!! Caffeine will get me through.

Locations research for a show that takes place in the past is weird when you know that half of the locations are long closed, yet remember them like you were there last week.

While cleaning out my old laptop, I found this sitting there... Alas, despite it going as far as letting me choose my sign-in info, it demanded I update by downloading Teams.
Yuck.

Everything is just kind of breaking around here.
My "new" (~5 years old) laptop has been lagging so bad, and it takes about 10 minutes to turn on... So I stopped my (much) older laptop from getting packed, hoping it'll work better.
So far no.
Also balancing the one on my stomach. A+ plan, me.

Everything is just kind of breaking around here.

Prepping snacks before heading to set. I don't leave until 2:50am (so 4 hrs from posting) but it's so much nicer to just get out the door, and already have snacks ready.

Picked up some paint brushes that came from a tv show set. They were part of a few lots that a group I'm in decided to bid on. It was a ton of fun, and I hope there's more to see soon.
