urgh, I used to do comms so much faster. I used to DRAW so much faster. It's not like I'm short of ideas or inspiration. At times it feels like the spirit of artistic skill leaves my body and I can barely string shapes together.
i know i'm not alone in this struggle but maaan it's annoying.

at some point i kinda wanna get back to my roots and draw more pear-shaped creatures again...it's been on my mind a lot lately. i just think round shapes are fun.

just popping in real quick to say that i'm still doing okay! still workin on comms and other things in the background, it's just been a LOT slower than i'd like. i'm trying to be careful not to burn out again.

LRT, it's too often that I have times where I look back on old art and think "ew gross" but also plenty of times where I think "oh wow that kinda holds up actually".
it's a nice feeling. but still really fascinating to see how far I've come in some respects with my art.

UGH i just gotta say though that this is the worst part of taking commissions; me being a quivering bundle of anxious nerves as I wait for submissions to trickle in until the deadline passes, worrying that there's something i forgot or screwed up. i suuure didn't miss that feeling at all
