We had a bit of snow and a cold snap. Two days after I took this photo, the snow and ice were gone.

This is the Santa Fe River. In the Pacific Northwest, this would be a creek like the one near where we lived before returning to New Mexico. Each winter a few salmon come up to spawn.

The Sangre de Cristo Mtns on the eastern side of Santa Fe has a valley filled with fog between the peaks and the foothills. This is photo-worthy because fog is rare here. Some of the ski runs are the white lines in the center of the mountains. The line on the far right is a service road
