Long story short, no it doesn't remind any actual bad word or anything bad and it actually sound a lot like "providence" (yeah it's the same in french and english) so it might be a perfect fit!

With the hyphen, it makes the whole thing a bit more readable, I think, especially if you want to ease the mental burden of someone reading this and learning a new word!

So I think it ultimately, it's best to go the "Néo" route but I would add an accent to emphasis on the French aspect if that makes sense!

As for your concept, I think "Nouveau Germanopratin" sounds good as this piggybacks onto other things like "Art Nouveau".
That being said, in French we mostly use the "Neo"
