While still great...it's not even close. Yet, GoW had like 11 nominations and more wins.

the crazy thing is...how good this still looks on Switch 1. Would love to see what Retro could do with a exclusively Switch 2 game.

A few more hours in and the combat / boss battles realllyyy suck so far man.
In Prime 1 they weren't really great until you got all the different weapons. Hopefully this gets better here too.

THE MUSIC is fucking sick so far. I remember really liking Prime 1's soundtrack but just finding 2 and 3s to be OK. This one seems like a step up back to 1.

Only one hour into the game but...the combat is really lacking. hasn't evolved or improved since Prime 1. Which, in my opinion, is one of the only elements of Prime 1 that have aged poorly. Bullet sponge enemies that flash red. It's still early in the game...

I was getting really annoyed with the pointer controls. Pretty frequently desyncs ...until I switched to the 120 fps mode. Hopefully this fixes this forever.
if it does...they really should add it to old motion control games like Pikmin series.

Damn. This game looks next gen (for Nintendo)....and the 120 fps mode is really good. I can't believe I even care about that for a Metroid game.

For some reason...the pointer controls never desync in 120 fps mode...it feels really really good. In 60 fps I got frequent desyncs that were pretty frustrating.
