We had stayed at this same hotel once before, and since then, the two female owners (sisters) had both passed away (and yes, they had a dog).

I'd love to hear from others with autism, or have children with autism, about similar experiences.

The next morning, my wife sheepishly asked the person at the front desk if anyone had ever told them about a similar experience. She said that they got reports of that all the time, even of people hearing a dog barking, then opening their door and seeing nothing.

My wife asked her if she looked angry, and she said yes, to which my wife said it was because she had made so much noise the night before, and she needed to go to sleep.

Kind of freaked us out a bit, but we were all very tired, and finally all got to sleep.
