All that said completing the DLC dex is some grind I wasn't expecting I've gotten half completed evo chains, and no sights for a good 1/5 of the dex. And they aren't even legendaries, just normals like Seviper, Torchic, Mime Jr.

I had a handful of shiny from other games but I never had the patience for dedicated shiny hunting in those games even with the sandwiches in Violet (/Scarlett) the framed drops and general performance hiccups was just killing any enthusiasm I had to attempt it. I was happy to complete the dex.

This is probably the first Pokemon game where I had a full box of shiny pokemon that were caught by myself and not random Wonder traded.

Metroid Prime 4 entire existence is validated by that spundtrack, it could be a 2/5 hot garbage but when I hit the defrost in that ice area holy shit I was head banging. So far best Metroid OST since Fusion.

It's hard not to talk about negatives sometimes, but why does the Akira slide in Metroid Prime 4 not actually drop your momentum like every other time it's ever used in history. Oh this slide that really cool and makes the widescreen really pop off yeah we're gonna use that getting collectables...

Also apparently a small nudge of my screen protector cracked on my Switch 2. Part of me is like "oh well at least it was the screen protector and not the screen itself" but also why the fuck is this shit breaking so soon?

For like 5 months I didn't play anything new for more than an hour or 2. Even if I take out FFT:IC and DQ1+2 I have probably more in the past 2 weeks than I have all the rest of the year combined.

FFT IC difficulty only applies in Random Battles (apparently,) also you can just keep selecting the area to start up a random battle or just ignore it, from my experience on Squire and Knight. Maybe the higher difficulty will not allow you to skip Random encounters.

Going from newer Atelier games to older ones is some whiplash in item creation, and side quest management. I started with Sophie, went through mystery? Trilogy to the Ryza, and latest one Yumia and recently decided to try Rorona.

Some of the craziest shit I'm dealing with in Hyrule Warriors is stuff I never seen discussed online. I kept using food boost to help get food in division missions. It wasn't doing anything at all, so on a whim, I used specific food boosts [i think plant?]and suddenly getting 5/5 food caps everytime

I finally figured out how to deal with Hyrule Warriors Ganon and Phontom Ganon drops by just killing them first and then getting the other bosses. If I don't see Silver/Gold Material drops I just restart mission.

A month ago I had to spend a few $k on a car repair, so I was like "Guess I'm not playing DK." So I played Hyrule Warriors DE using the Switch 2 and holy money that game loads up maps in like 2-3 seconds flat. Which is insanely faster than I remember it used to.

Fuck credit cards, credit scores, any kind of financial scoring system. If you have the money you should just be able to buy stuff. If you don't have money you shouldn't be able to put it on your made up credit that makes you a billionaire.
