Bi-modal for the first ride of the year, with a surprise 3rd largest climb I've ridden. Fun day, but would have been a lot more fun if rural Japan had consistent bike/pedestrian spaces. There were way too many cars despite decent enough drivers.

Almost 5000 people attended the #SleightheStreets bike event today, but this is the state of the bike lane the next street over on Ayala Avenue. Makati enforcers and their landlord employers have zero interest in keeping the bike lanes safe.

If we needed any proof, this elevated expressway is fully open to cars and is barely moving anyone

Closing streets to cars doesn't cause traffic, cars cause traffic.

Always happy not to be in a car in this city
