“For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

This milestone is a full-circle moment, celebrating not just a year of ministry, but a year of growth, belonging, and deep connection to a community that has walked with me through transformation and grace.”

Today, I am especially excited to officially join the Glendale family—on the one-year anniversary of serving as the church’s Children’s Director.

A little about her: “I am the proud mom of two amazing boys — Alder and Rowan — who bring joy, laughter, and plenty of energy to my world. After 13 years of marriage and a recent divorce, I found a safe and affirming space at Glendale to heal and fully embrace my identity as a queer woman.

All of us are excited to join Glendale and be a part of this dynamic, inclusive community.”

We wanted to find a community that shared our heart for social justice, embraced diversity as a strength and priority, and fostered a space where all of our friends and family could come and feel welcome. Glendale has embodied these attributes from the first day we walked through its doors.

A little about them: “We have been a part of many different church communities throughout our lives and after moving back to Nashville and following the birth of our daughter James in 2023, we began looking for a church to call our home.
