My daughter died 12 and a half years ago and last night my mind let me think it was her who just texted me. Those moments are as nice and they are sad and I'll cherish them either way.

If judges are going to rule victims are too traumatized to be believed then what's the point of reporting? Why go to court at all? Why even pick up a phone and talk to a police officer?
It's been the same failure for decades. Fuck our courts! Victims get more justice from an outraged public.

Today’s 50 years ago the movie JAWS hit the theatre and ruined me for swimming in Lake Ontario for the summer. I was 12, my parents took me. But , it did peak my interest in SCUBA diving so that was good.
