Package or two of cornbread stuffing, follow basic directions for celery/onion prep with butter, to all that add 1 or 2 cans of oysters w/ juice, 1 or 2 cans sliced mushrooms with liquid. For more moisture, if needed, add beer or chicken broth until just wet through. Stuff bird or bake 30-45 min

Yes. I try to buy only as much as we can consume. Plus, our waste management company has requested we separate our trash now and I hate having food out in the bin in the heat, even for a few days before pickup, so my freezer gets full of scraps and stuff, waiting for pickup day.

I've also read/heard some things about how much commercial food production overall has stripped the soils of nutrients that can't be or isn't replaced between harvests. Our food is becoming less nutritious as a result. We seem to be our own worst enemy while trying to consume whole real foods.

Yes, I was thinking they might have changed the taste when they engineered out the seeds. I don't think I've seen black seeds in a store bought watermelon for years. It's all "seedless" in my area stores.

No salt, never picked up that habit. Changing tastes is probably a part of it. Plus, as I was eating a bowl of it I considered that they've probably engineering out some of the sweetness along with the seeds. I don't know when I last had watermelon with full fledged black seeds.

I plan to hop in the car and drive over to my local protest site. At the least, I can drive through the intersection and honk my horn a couple times. I doubt I can stand for any length of time, but I'll check out the logistics and make a decision then. Any support is good, even in spirit.

Felon47 doesn't see real doctors but if he did, they'd never release a diagnosis of any disease he had. It would be a sign of weakness and he can't have that, can he?

I dabbled in keto for a while and yes, you can get down some rabbit holes with trying to change your diet and suppliment for your health.
