#BOOZY SECRETS: I had a fun start to my day yesterday. I finally was able to visit the hidden #speakeasy at DIA (yes .. I’m aware ‘they’ changed the name - I did not 😉).
I’ve tried to get in several times, then finally, yesterday ... I was let in via the secret entrance. #Fun stuff!

I spent my evening @ Aspen Peak Cellars in Bailey.

EARLY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION: That was fun 😜 Routine Colonoscopy. I started having routine colonoscopies when I was fairly young (due to issues). I’m old now, so I’ve notched quite a few on my belt. I must say … I’ve never grown fond of them 🤣🤣🤣 #getchecked #health #colonoscopy

AND THEY’RE OFF: I took my dad to the track. He’s in his 90s and this was the first time at the track.
We got him a program, sat him down, explained the odds and different ways to bet. It took him a few races …. But when he got the hang of it, he had a tons of fun 🏇 #horses #track #races

I went out to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo yesterday. I hadn’t been in a few months. The new Giraffe center is coming along nicely. It’s going to be massive with a 12,000-square-foot giraffe barn. It should be complete early 2026. For a herd of 16 giraffes, this will be spectacular. #giraffe #zoo #animals

NO DRIVER? I’m in Phoenix… so we know what that means … no drivers, at least for me 😜
Why do I use them? While I can be very social, often times I’m quite introverted. Human interaction drains me. So freaky or not, the lack of chit chat won me over. So this is me on every Phoenix trip. #travel

I’m in Phoenix this week at one of my happy places - Milkweed Arts AZ. I love the shop and Warren Norgaard does an amazing job bringing in the best instructors.

PACKING: Finally made it to my hotel and I have to say that I love, love, love this backpack. FINALLY a super roomy smallish backpack. Made well. Waterproof. Sits upright. I can easily pack for 2+ weeks in this! It’s the Cascade Backpack (Standard) by Portland Gear. ❤️ it!!!
