Born in YES city, but now live in Central Belt. Been at this Independence thing since 1975. Rugby, cats, Tennents Lager, Red Wine, Whisky. Any Tech stuff and History 👍
Despite over 400,000 Unionist NO voters dying since the 2014 Scottish Independence referendum (out of a total of 2,001,926), the Opinion polls still use a weighting factor based on the result. Totally out of date. Especially since these dead voters are being replaced by young adults polling 70% YES.

If we really want to hurt the Unionists in May 2026, then ALL Indy support should vote -

SNP - Constituency vote
Scottish Greens - Regional List vote

Forget your pet grievances and personal crusades. The enemy is Westminster and the Union with its Reserved Powers.

90/129 seats(70%) Landslide

Will Scottish Greens work with SNP to maximise the amount of Indy MSPs at the next Holyrood election in May 2026. By voting SNP 1 Scottish Greens 2, we could win 90/129 of the seats in the Scottish Parliament. That is 70% of the seats and a statement to Westminster and the international community!

This is the kind of thing I have been waiting for from SNP. They need to persuade voters that things will become substantially better after Independence.

Nationalise energy & much lower energy costs

Much better State Pension & no more increases in age to retire

Back in EU

Cradle to grave NHS

Will you work with SNP to oust Unionists MSPs in the Holyrood election?

I am voting -

SNP for my Constituency candidate

Scottish Greens as my Regional List vote.

If all Indy supporters did this we could have 90/129 Indy MSPs

25 of them would be Scottish Greens (a 300%increase on 2021)
December 8, 2025 at 10:33 AM
Kind of hope you guys are going to work with SNP in the run up to Holyrood 2026. If Indy supporters voted SNP 1 Scottish Greens 2 then we could have 90 Indy seats out of the 129 available. Of that 90 seats, 24-26 could be Scottish Greens. A 300% increase on 2021.
December 5, 2025 at 2:25 PM
SNP & Scottish Greens should do a deal for the 2026 Holyrood election.

Scottish Greens voters don't contest Constituency seats & vote for SNP

SNP supporters don't contest List seats & vote for Scottish Greens

This could produce 90 Indy seats out of the 129 seats available. 70% of parliament.

So -

1. I am a Independence supporter 1st & foremost.

2. Holyrood 2026 is not a referendum. I am voting to minimise the amount of Unionist MSPs. SNP 1 Scottish Greens 2 is the best strategy to do that

3. Scottish Greens have no realistic solution to getting another referendum either.
December 5, 2025 at 8:55 AM
I like the Greens & their policies. I will give them my List vote in 2026. The political situation in Scotland is totally different to England. SNP are in general continuing to do a good job as a standing government & so Scottish Greens will find it virtually impossible to get Constituency seats.
December 5, 2025 at 8:39 AM
Scottish Greens only got 1.29% of the Constituency vote in 2021 and zero Constituency seats.
December 4, 2025 at 11:45 AM
Yep, and quite a sizeable amount of Labour MPs in Scotland at that time. 1997 UK General Election. Scotland Act signed in 1998. 56 out of the 72 seats in Scotland
December 4, 2025 at 11:20 AM
Exactly! There is only one way to vote in May 2026 !

Constituency vote - SNP
Regional List votes - Scottish Greens

That will maximise the amount of Indy seats in Holyrood.

This the type of pish The Telegraph is printing! Honestly how do they get away with these blatant lies!!
December 2, 2025 at 1:16 PM
Hmmm... Reparations for what? Bearing in mind most policies affecting the islands are reserved to Westminster.
December 1, 2025 at 3:35 PM
Surprise, surprise! BBC Scotland is withering on the vine! They just can't come to terms with the fact that Independence is inevitable and people are inexorably moving away from the Unionist lies, misinformation and omissions they serve up on a daily basis.
November 25, 2025 at 5:32 PM
Lot of bull shit. Shafi hand picks one poll that goes against the grain, then writes an article devoid of facts. He says "But what was striking is that just 31% of 16 to 24 year-olds said they would vote Yes" Really? Take a look at Believe in Scotland! I know which figures I am inclined to believe
November 25, 2025 at 4:31 PM
I just think a massive amount of voters don't know how the D'Hondt PR system works. It is a bit depressing. The Scottish government has made no effort to educate voters(maybe on purpose).

It's great that SNP will win 62+ out of 73 Constituency seats, but it means zero List seats so -
November 24, 2025 at 5:56 PM
Hmmmm......
November 24, 2025 at 12:19 PM
Difference between Superannuation & NI contributions? Both are deducted from your salary to provide an income after you retire. Yet Westminster say the State Pension is a benefit. It is not! UK state pension is crap!
Average living wage £457.88/ week
State Pension -£230.25(new) £176.45(old)
November 17, 2025 at 8:55 PM
I am an SNP member and have voted SNP since 1975. In 2026 I will be voting SNP for Constituency vote and Scottish Greens for my List vote. If all Indy supporters did this then we could have a massive Indy majority in Holyrood in 2026.
November 17, 2025 at 3:06 PM
Vote SNP 1 Scottish Greens 2 in 2026!
Let's get a super majority of Indy seats.

This is straight from the Scottish Greens web site this morning!!
November 9, 2025 at 12:20 PM
Get around your colleagues and tell them that the public love you guys and our SNHS. Yes, there will be isolated incidents where things went wrong and that is what the Unionist politicians use as ammunition to attack the Scottish Government and SNP. With Independence chang to a positive dialogue.
