On the other hand: yes, some people might be stupid. And to be completely fair, we all are, just at different times - and, I guess, at different scales.

But the world isn't.

It's important to remember. It's something to remind ourselves and others, and be reminded of, too. Every day.
I love you everyone and I'm really sorry, but everything about Thanksgiving is deeply revolting to me. But I do hope that you have the best time with your families and friends

You piece of shit. You disgusting brainless son of a bitch.

The thing that angers me the most about Holodomor is that none of the people who are writing and talking about it today actually care. It simply became a convenient political tool for the modern times. Go fuck yourselves with your books and lectures please. You know nothing, you don’t even want to.

My great grandmother was almost murdered and eaten. By her neighbors, I think. She was 8.

I wonder how these so called lawmakers are feeling about this pathetic joke of a resolution today after the meeting

It baffles me how humans can seriously think in terms of greatness. Their own, their group. Their "nation". Mf have you ever seen the sky above you. You are nothing. We are nothing. We are bacteria.

Qatar is getting a military base in Idaho, and Saudis get a bunch of F-35s and now an AI datacenter. All within the last couple months. All for war, in one way or another.

The man will seek the angel at the bottomless pit.

As much as I hate to admit it... I'm not sure that the AI bubble is going to burst - at least the same way as the previous ones.

Yes, there might be a storm. People will lose money, pensions, even jobs. These companies' ownership might change. But overall, the circus will carry on.

Already seeing prospective Dem candidates trying to imitate Zohran's campaign.

Among many other things, imitating something as easily recognizable does not signal "I respect my audience".

Our dog doesn't let me skip meals. She always knows when I haven't eaten yet, and won't find peace until I have. I am grateful, but also don't know how to stop sharing at this point

Way too many people take me seriously here. Has to be the black profile pic, no other explanation

It pains me to no end that Zig is not 1.0 yet. And won't be for another what seems like five years or so. And even then it will be rushed, leaving some significant design decisions to 2.0 at least, if ever.

Finally catching up with Peter Joseph's Substack this morning. And, along with everything else, finding him voicing one of my most controversial views that I didn't even want to say out loud: that Hitler was not an anomaly - but a canary in a coal mine. The one we did not fucking heed.
The Ghost in the Machine: Capitalism’s Fascist Reflex
Fascism was never defeated—it was absorbed and rebranded.

What they don't tell you is that once you're out of a chronic depression you might get lazy. Like, if your resentment towards your circumstances was driving you, now it doesn't; so, now you have to find another drive, and form habits around it, which takes another forever.

Seeing lots of talk about MTG suddenly "waking up".

1. She's an opportunist. She sees Trump's future, and is simply using him as a springboard. A daring, but smart move.
2. She's farther to the Right than Trump, crazier, and more dangerous.

Do NOT welcome her or give her the benefit of doubt.

This handsome gentleman came up to me while I’m waiting, and decided to wait with me. He’s the embodiment of how good today is.

It feels great to feel great.

I wish I could say that the timeline between Podesta emails and Epstein emails will be studied for generations; but, during that same timeline we've all learned that mainstream political science is too stupid and profit-oriented to be ever taken seriously.

For many years, I'd spend most of my time obsessing over work-related projects. Pondering everything, from architecture to tiny little details. I wanted them to be perfect. I wanted to solve puzzles our industry is basically built of - still, to this day. I knew it was possible. I still do.

And that's just emails. Imagine what their Telegram chat would look like.
You just know that “Did Women Ruin the Workplace?” bit would have done NUMBERS in this little clique
Something absolutely perfect about Larry Summers riffing about the scourge of woke cancel culture being unfair to predatory men in a friendly email to his pal JEFFREY EPSTEIN.

As much as I hate to admit it, this is Russia but with Yakety Sax playing in the background. Can't wait for this stupid series to end already.

That Epstein email began spreading on Instagram, and it immediately started to malfunction.

Just so everyone knows how bad they don't want people to see it.
