I guess there are cheaper ways to do it if you think about it carefully. Subway is £14 for 4 people, train into town is about £16, park n ride is cheaper, or a very long bus journey but these are calculations you would be doing going to Edinburgh for the day, not the city you live in.

I think for residents it’s fine, but for anyone who wants to go there its logistically and financially punitive. Unless all 4 of my family cycled, I am taxed heavily to go there through travel or parking charges. Closing Kelvin Way doesnt change that. West Enders can see the Burrell far more easily

Or indeed, to be able to access without creating the permanent traffic jam to the West End that is now Byres Rd. Taking a family of 4 to the West End from the South Side cost me £36. The West End, where many of our best civic amenities reside, is increasingly inaccessible to the Glasgow public.

I used to live across the road from that church and spent many hours sketching it from my window. Been inside a few times - there is an interesting modern mural near the altar that shows Jesus in Kelvingrove Park. Had a £3M restoration a good while back that ensures its continued use.

I always wondered why the release dates change in biographies. I’ve also always thought that 1971 was Bowie’s most important year - released MWSTW, wrote and released Hunkydory and wrote most of the tracks of Ziggy Stardust. Any official biopic should focus on that period.
