As a casual level player I wouldn’t say they’re horrible, but they aren’t that fun to play outside of TotE and SH, both of which got all the cool Flavour and good rules, also only having 4 detachments when there so many cool shield hosts is a real miss. I’d say more than anything they’re a bad codex
