I love Peter Doig’s painting Echo Lake — it looks so Lynchian. The artist used a screenshot from Friday the 13th as a reference, and it also reminds me of Munch’s The Scream. As Doing himself says ‘water reflections function as entrances to other worlds’

I’ve seen Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake twice, and it touched my soul deeply. Male swans are so beautiful and free, yet wild and aggressive, and the story is so emotional and heartbreaking. Truly inspiring 🦢💔
