While I would like a partner at some point I think I would be a miserable parent, I have too many things I would like to do and try, and places to travel, and way too expensive hobbies lol. I do respect people that are happy with kids though, each to their own.

I have premium so i can watch youtube on my tv and tablet ad-free, if that wasnt the case I would 100% run with ublock

My friend also has no internal monologue and we have discussed a lot how strange it is that some of us do and some of us dont, very cool stuff! As for our own voice, I think I read its something about how it resonates in our own skull? Vs how its transmitted trough the air.

Our internal monologue and how we sound to ourselves has always fascinated me, hearing my own voice in recordings makes me reel from how bad I think I sound.

Kids in school here get ipads mostly to use in class, they do have the keyboard covers for them but I dont think they learn touch typing or anything like that anymore, laptops might not be a thing until they are 12+ in middle school (Norway)

Tablet kids have completely changed computer literacy (and gaming literacy!) a certain pirate streamer explained at a game conference, the kids would shove the keyboard and controller aside and try to press on the monitor instead to play the game :)

My coworker discussed this exact topic with his aunt except it was a concert she went to instead of a meal, and i have sent him this in response to use in the future.
