The people who have been "closest" don't see you and don't put in effort and it breaks your heart despite the scaffolding you've put up to make sure it doesn't break anymore. It's the part of you that says "that's just how it is" seeing that it doesn't have to be.

You're disappointed. Its hiding anger and a want for justice because you know its not how its supposed to feel. You want to be SEEN not just tolerated. Known in a way that isn't just passing but instead curious.
