The other thing to keep in mind is we may not be as competitive for the MLSNP championship after losing all the vets. I'd prefer to see CITY2 as a developmental team, but I also liked having the depth for loans when needed.

If the potential coaches have similar styles, it might make sense to go ahead and sign a player or two, right? Otherwise I think it behooves everyone to hold off until the coach is named.

I'd argue this is how VAR should work all the time. Otherwise what's the point of the ref on the field when VAR overrules them almost all the time.

How much will this change impact scouting departments/rosters within MLS? I've been told the current calendar appeals to South/Central America due to familiarity with playing in the heat. Will we see more Europeans come over with this change?
