In some cultures the word animal doesn’t even exist, only brothers and sisters.
I don’t consume animal flesh. The very idea sickens me. If I eat any dairy, it’s the occasional free-range egg. I have several acquaintances who have four legs and wear fur. Pretty simple for me.

We’ve been spending our summers in the desert and we haven’t seen ANY bugs down here (Mesa, AZ)! Saw a fly once a couple of winters ago. We made a big deal about it! But 19% humidity takes some getting used to.

Not necessarily just religion, the salem witch trials were a pretty good showcase of mass hysteria leading to an ABSOLUTELY insane decision, and when it died down practically everyone agreed it made no sense.
