Car Series 3: Inside Edition
Third episode and I think I'm getting better at presenting in this format! it's different working from a handful of bullet points rather than a detailed script. It's getting a bit uncomfortable to record in my car during lunch so this was at home after work. Same format, just without the vehicle. www.gkcinfo.com for membership information and other stuff. It's still not entirely functional, moving midstream from WordPress after the first episode has been a learning curve, but I'm getting happier with it. We have our booth at the Painted Tree in Overland Park as well!

There are a lot of vulnerable people who rely on others to help them stay out of facilities. It can be as simple as a couple hours of housekeeping. Usually there's the option of getting paid by Medicaid to help them. Community is the cornerstone of #resiliency. #GKC #KCMO #KCK

There's a crying need for people to help vulnerable people stay out of nursing facilities. It's often paid work. 5 hours a week of paid work can make a huge difference.

GKC Resiliency Car Series 2 Yeah this is going to be a regular thing. Had to rebuild the website since WordPress decided to introduce their new interface. It did not like my hosting platform. So I went ahead and had one generated. I'm still tinkering with it. Gkcinfo.com is our website. I am adding social media later today, you'll see us on Instagram on the Unicorn Promise account because I'm horrible at this. We will have more updates next week, things are afoot but I'm not sure what I will be able to finalize in the next week. Take care! Aaron

So, WordPress update broke our website just as we launched our project and I had to scramble to get something else up. I'm still mourning for Yahoo Sitebuilder. It remains my all time favorite.

Kinda disappointed not many local groups we have connections to are here, but I'm sure some individuals connected to them are, folks like CultivateKC, Harvesters and MoKan Goodwill, and maybe even the Painted Tulip where we have our retail booth
