After his adoption we joined a FB group for people who have adopted dogs from the same organization. People post dog pictures, organize walks or doggy sitting, and ask for training recommendations here. He's been with us for 7 years and no issues.

The adoption was finalized only after we felt he was the right dog for us and the organization agreed. There is a clause that if he ever needs to be rehomed, they will take him back. I received the medical records after adopting him and my vet was able to verify them as accurate

They do not offer direct adoption. We fostered Echo for about 4 weeks before adopting him. During the first week, he showed some reactivity and Kelly came over with a few of her dogs to assess the problem and offer training recommendations

The organization does not have a physical location. Dogs are brought into approved foster homes locally to settle in. The behavior assessments occur once the dogs have decompressed. From what I can tell, the group tries to match dogs to the right environment after this

The volunteer assessed our home environment and asked what we were looking for in a dog. I stated the breed didn't matter to me, so much as getting the right fit for us. They asked if we were okay waiting to hear from their dog matchmakers

The owner, Kelly, is a dual citizen who lives in Point Roberts. She is a dog trainer and lives with about 13 dogs, some of which she uses to help assess rescue dog behavior. When we applied, we were offered a meet and greet in our home, where one of their volunteers came to meet us

We worked with PB&Chi. They were able to meet with us to see our home and discuss our lifestyle to ensure the best fit.
