Note that it is the wholesale price that is being reduced, NOT the retail price. Once again, the gentailers are ripping off we consumers until the next review later this year. 😡

The Australian Greens are the only party with Federal representation that has sensible policies on fossil fuels and meeting the challenges of the climate crisis. 🥰

I couldn't agree more with this statement: “Labor needs to cut ties with the gas lobby, tax exports, and commit to a fast and fair transition off gas – one that finally puts households ahead of gas corporations.” 🥰

Has anyone said "Der" to that yet? 🤪

Agreed! 😠

Thankfully, gas is only responsible for less than 5% of electricity generation. Sadly, it may be required at some level for many years to come, depending on how long the transition to renewables takes. 🫤

AI data centres use huge amounts of energy and water, often harming vulnerable communities through pollution and poor siting. But AI also boosts medical research, renewable energy planning and accessibility. With strict rules and clean power, harms can be avoided. This will require political will. 🤗

Weirdly, I find ChatGPT-5 an excellent tool for web searching. It saves me heaps of time and comes up with excellent results 95% of the time. It also includes references that I check. When I find an error, I persevere with it until it gets it right. Maybe I've just trained it well. 🤗

Greetings Greg. Have you read Bill Mitchell's take on these figures? I'm curious to discover what you think of it. 🤔

@ausmmt.bsky.social, what is your view of the Federal Government becoming insurer of last resort, a bit like a JG, with a promise to relocate affected homes? 🤔

Excellent article, Darren. 🤗

They already are irrelevant, both the Libs and Nationals! 🤪
September 1, 2025 at 1:01 PM
Too right @grogsgamut.bsky.social! The Libs have been irrelevant since the election, if not before. I still dunno why they are given any media coverage. 🤪

The argument used by the author of the book that she doesn't want the code in print because of possible future ramifications is continuing the cover-up by the colonists. Outrageous!! 😡
August 4, 2025 at 12:55 AM
This is an outrageous abdication of human intelligence! Simply take photos of the code and add them to the text. I do it all the time!! Perhaps these people are still living in those days of massacres! Unbelievable in 2025!! 😡

Where is that, Warren? 🤔
