Government programs have saved my ass many times. Having grown up in abject poverty, it led to my being able to earn a decent living, buy a condo, and get health insurance.
Shutting down Job Corps is unconsciencable. We have to fight the oligarchs and restore democracy.

Howard Hawk directing, Ben Hecht co-writer, Cary Grant and Ginger Rogers starring, yet probably the worst movie of 1952 on Classic Movies. No wonder they keep pushing Marilyn Monroe (with a small role) as one of the stars (to attract the lecher dollar.)

📽️ Saw last night. It's a good yarn & and a bridge between the last Avengers and the next version. Too many scenes of faceless goons trying to kill the Captain whilst being killed by the flying shield (can't anyone choreograph novel fight scenes?) but overall, recommended for a good popcorn movie.
