AOC says she's pissed off because trump shut down her bid for Georgia senate seat. She's having a tantrum. This makes more sense than the idea that she has changed her views on anything. But again, I'll believe it when she puts her vote where her mouth is.

"Minimizing body count"? I've heard of way more situations where the "good guy w/a gun" delays LE response and makes their job much harder; i.e., the chaos of trying to figure out who's the bad guy and who's not. Bottom line: there's too many fucking guns.

The twisted logic is that by arming everyone, you're making people safe. The "good guy with a gun" strategy ... it's ridiculous. As if people planning to shoot up a grocery store give AF about getting shot. I think the REAL reason for this is to instill more fear, more distrust, more chaos.

THIS. "Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the possible" is the mantra. Dealing with this right now in my red state, w/small groups of dems demanding "purity tests" of candidates on niche issues. They appear to want to alienate the moderates that we MUST HAVE to get the party off life support.
