Surely "Sci-fi" has to take an interest in the science part?

I think on either platform it's 5 minutes well spent to consider which apps you really want or need notifications from. It does make a lot of difference IMO

Given how Jose Mourinho's time went at Man U, I think that might make the case that living in a hotel, even a suite at The Lowry, will eventually send you mad.
Certainly it was mentioned as a possible factor when things started falling apart for him there.

But if Sage, I guess mostly private sector? I was wondering if it was a public sector / 3rd sector thing?

Where do you work? Because my experience is I've literally never had that - it's always just "here's the new number"

They're all opt in on Android by that standard too.
You can (and I have) go through them all in one place (Settings>Notifications>App Notifications) and disable all but the most important ones

True. Although once you've won the arguments about "who gets to raise taxes?" and "can we choose our own king anyway" it's quite difficult to find things to rebel against. Changes take place within the system rather than by replacing the system.

I do sort of feel it's probably worth noting that that revolution was less than 40 years after the one where we did execute the king though...
