The River closes out strong. Another great show! I'm not sure I enjoyed the Lisbon residency as much as some of the US ones from 2023, but this tour definitely has potential. Still not sure what to make of Amby's volume though. #KGLW #KingGizzard

at a little over 9-minutes in, and I'm loving this version of The River from Lisbon. It really picked up from the mellow started with Cavs going nuts right now and wonderful guitar harmonies happening. #KGLW #KingGizzard

so let's see how this River stacks up against some of the best ever: SLO, Mexico City, Burlington, Red Rocks 2022? Chicago 2023? Philly 2024? a bunch more I am forgetting right now? #KGLW #KingGizzard

now Can't hear Amby's lines in Set. Overall not my favorite synth part, but its early this tour and some future setlists look dope. The more complex the synth sounds gets, I sometimes miss the simpler synth jams from 2023, especially the Winter/Spring Europe tour. next bootlegger? #KGLW #KingGizzard

the Metal segment was great, but main event (for me at least) is up next..it's Nathan time followed by The River closer. Going to break for a bit before these last segments. Maybe hydrate and stretch a bit in case the mood to dance strikes #KGLW #KingGizzard

A bit of an extended metal segment appears to be next, which isn't always my favorite, but I am looking forward to hearing the less played these days Perihelion. The Gila and Gaia combo is always fun too. #KGLW #KingGizzard

the Amby volume issues or choices (still not sure which?) seem more glaring on this version of Straws in the Wind. Stu's "backup" vocals seem louder than Amby most of the song. I'm loving the guitar tones throughout the performance though, the impact from Stu's new guitar? #KGLW #KingGizzard

back from some lunch to kick off the microtonal section of Lisbon night 3 with Rattlesnake, maybe King Gizzard's most well known song? #KGLW #KingGizzard

Sad Pilot is one of my favorites from Flight B741, maybe my favorite. All the vocals are really low in the mix on this version. It will be interesting if fans try to mix up some of the vocals on some of these songs. It seems a bit more noticeable this show so far vs. prior nights #KGLW #KingGizzard

Magma is probably my favorite live song from Ice, Death, only because they haven't played a full Hell's Itch. Although Ice V jams always impress too. I do miss Lava more in the rotation, having only been played once in 2024 and none so far this year. This Magma is a solid version. #KGLW #KingGizzard

I see why KGLW.net calls this Tap unfinished. Interesting vibe to this show so far. They don't seem to be in a hurry to get anywhere in particular. Call it the 'residency effect'? Makes me want to see what kind of magic a 5 or 6 show no-repeat residency might summon #KGLW #Gizzsky #KingGizzard

around 11:15 the Dripping Tap jam really starts to pick up into something darker and a bit more complex. Really nice texture to this jam instead of the typical ripping dueling guitars. Love those too, don't get me wrong #KGLW #KingGizzard

kind of a meandering mellow Tap jam...crowd claps (impatiently maybe?)

I don't think I will ever tire of a Dripping Tap opener. It really get things kicked off right. 10/2/22 at The Greek, in Berkeley, CA might be my favorite Tap opener. Whoa, what happened to Amby vocals? #WhereDidAmbyGo #KGLW

Oh man I wish, but I think they specifically said in an AMA that they couldn't release that show because Hollywood Bowl contract requires a big extra fee for live audio releases.

and the big crowd pleaser, Le Risque wraps it up for the night, for one hell of a show. The opening Iron Lung -> Hypertension was the big highlight of night 2 of King Gizzard in Lisbon...everything else was just wonderful gravy. #KGLW #KingGizzard

okay back from quick break to close out the show. The Murder of the Universe suite is always a welcome addition to any show. I was never psyched for it until I experienced it up close at the final Red Rocks 2022 show, and shed a real tear #KGLW #KingGizzard

or just a meandering breakdown, as its picking back up again, and the crowd struggles to keep the beat with claps and gives up. Now we getting a jam befitting this show so far! #KGLW #KingGizzard

and now we get a synth EDR jam? Evil Death Roll is mellowing out for something
