The time a representative of a government supports software that can’t stop the promotion of children abuse over an international relationship that has been used to form successful trade relations and worked together to bring peace to the world for the last 100 years.

If a new app was produced which had, as its core features, the generation of sexual deep fake images of children and calls for a violent global far-right revolution, then not only would it be swiftly banned, but you wouldn't have a single mainstream politician willing to associate themselves with it

2deg dog walk didn’t give ideal conditions for playing around, dog either chasing water birds or fingers to cold to act fast but got two reasonable take with new (old) #pentax 40-80 on #a6000 #photogrpahy the ducks was a surprise how it came out, 1/1000 f4 from about 40/50 meters.

Bought a #Pentax 40-80 f2.8 lense attached a #urth converter into the Sony #a6000 and loving the outcome. Such fun playing with no tech connectivity between lense and processor. Never thought I’d pick stuff up like this. #photography

The Pioneers cycle trip is the most significant fundraising initiative for www.1morechild.org. 70% of all their funding comes from these rides, and so far we have raised nearly £1.75 million for the charity across legs 1 to 11. This year, leg 14 550 miles across the princely state of Rajasthan.

The wiener is from Wien, or Vienna: a Vienna sausage.

The frankfurter is from Frankfurt.

The professor is slightly mistaken: "hot dog" is the name of the dish. By itself, the sausage is a frankfurter; only in a bun, it's called a hot dog.

Surely intimidation of political opposition . They are so blinded by their obsession for power they are losing sight of any decency
Instead of Bernie Moreno creepily following us to the cars we use to get to work in the Capitol and writing down their VIN numbers, I'd suggest he use his time in more productive ways …

Awesome thread and observation
i find this image so fascinating. it is both a literal example of authoritarianism but also a second-hand reproduction of the aesthetics of other authoritarian states. it's like a simulacra of authoritarianism whose purpose is to attempt to make the simulacra real.
This is a real photograph of Washington, DC this week, where the United States president has ordered military occupation in peacetime, and ordered the display of colossal portraits of himself.

just back from a worrying weekend in London.

Had a great time - it's still a great city to visit - but the backdrop of the media full of footage featuring angry people waving flags and shouting at hotels stayed with me.

Politicians encouraging this need to be held responsible.
Can't help but be reminded of how author Jonathan Miller schooled Enoch Powell on same.
