🔎 Onderzoekers vergeleken eentalige en meertalige #Alzheimerpatiënten. Mensen die hun hele leven meerdere #talen gebruikten, ontwikkelden een soort buffer tegen hersenveroudering. Ondanks dat hun #hersenen sneller achteruit gingen, konden ze beter compenseren.
