We are a UK charity raising awareness of non-directed living kidney donation - the act of giving a kidney to a stranger who is in need of one. Our vision is "no waiting for a transplant for want of a kidney".
Tessa, an NHS consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine, had experiences of what families go through with dialysis, so donating a kidney to a stranger she says 'was one of the best decisions she has made'.
