Their attitude seems to validate the position of the anti-French nationalist faction, who, in spite of appearance, has always been strong in Cote d'Ivoire. Already in 2010 argued that Gbagbo was only punished because of his confrontational attitude towards France. 3/5

When former president #Gbagbo tried to steal the elections in 2010, the #UN, #ECOWAS, the #EU, France and the US were compact in rejecting his constitutional coup. Now, they are completely silent in front of an equally shameless travesty of democracy. 2/5
