I had a great time this week at the Nature Conference on Competing Orders in Quantum Materials in Yale. We had cool talks and discussions, and fantastic hosting from the local organizers! I also enjoyed a visit to Liangbing Hu's lab. Thanks to all who participated!

I've spent a fantastic few days at a summer school on #excitons organized by EPFL & ETHZ students. Lots of good science, stunning mountains and excellent trains. Switzerland is even more beautiful than I remembered!

I'm feeling a bit left out as I'm missing #APSMarch this year, so I read with great pleasure this excellent Quanta article about the latest Nature paper on hydride superconductivity, reporting all the comments and reactions. Almost like being in the corridor after the talk!

I had a great week at #DPG2022! Heard lots of interesting talks and ideas, met old friends & made new ones, and enjoyed the post-deadline session & party with cool talks by @sentefmi & @Leo_Gross_IBM. Plus the summer weather was more enjoyable than the usual March chill!
