Used to work in a multicultural laboratory with, at one time, 27 nationalities represented, from around the world. We 3 Brits were the only ones happily flinging open the windows - the rest shuddered and shivered, because damp air makes everything feel either hotter or cooler

My personal feelings about people responsible for COVID corruption in USA, UK, everywhere, cannot be repeated here for fear of censorship. I could suggest punishments for these criminals, but mostly medieval nature

UK too, please. e.g. PR but where an individual MP can be fired off instantly if underperforming - without all the expense and hassle of a full election - a very much slimmed down 'house of lords' (but NOT lords) could be the watchdog - as well as acting as counterbalance to the more lunatic bills

It has been suggested that microplastics and/or COVID/long COVID adversely impact mental capacity, memory, cognition... Over reliance on devices and "teaching-as-a-job" rather than as a vocation, may also be factors.

Current US administration doesn't care about Europe. Europe should force it to care, cut every tiny trace of USA trade, business, investments and interests 100% from internet to coffee shops - everything. Then see if big money dudes decide to protect Europe against military threats after all.

I gather the strike is about poor pay (probably working conditions too) and Gaza. Completely bonkers I know but I would wish for a continuous World strike till the aggression in middle east stops

Bit of a cheek to describe Ukraine as "not a real country" when the "Russ" people came from the general area of modern Ukraine and set up an eastern colony, later to become Moscow. Russia is the artefact.
