I don’t recall seeing this on the sessions listing for #ILGISA

I guess this counts as an Emergency Service Hallway Session

Glad to be able to report a sighting of @bonnymcclain.com in the wild at the 2025 Illinois GIS Association meeting. #ILGISA
So happy to finally meet you in person Bonny.

Real good discussion on use of IR imaging by Dr Mousa Diabat from NV5 today. This was the first of their focused webinars. The slide is showing water temps in a stream particularly highlighting colder water fed from submerged springs

Files? As in digital??
It’s been over a decade since we ever got a digital submission of anything from a surveyor other than one we hired directly to give us coordinates for a subset of our PLSS section corners.

This map/nautical chart of Lake Michigan was on the wall of our hotel this weekend in Kenosha, Wisconsin. It was fun comparing how it looked back in 1903(?) to today. More businesses should decorate their walls with old maps.

I felt that way last November when the former boss retired. I was nervous as heck. I did not get it, but I am happy with the person who did.

I hope you get the promotion. I’m sure you can do it, no problem.

It’s always cool to check out the ADS-B website and see the flight pattern of an aerial collection flight. My guess is this may be part of the USGS 3DEP updates.

🤔I wonder how some of my neighbors giant inflatable Christmas displays would show up if it is LiDAR.

Sapphire not happy I’m working from home on a weekend.

I hear you girl, I’m not happy with it either. But it needs to be done.
