We need our own FBI. Provinces need to police their own municipalities.

The Night's Watch lmao. So perfect!

That's a good way of putting it!

There should be a protection system for student mental health. There are profs and instructors out there who needlessly bring down their students' self esteems through fostering needlessly hypercompetitive environments that are not conducive to learning.

This is not dumb. It wasn't even their thing. This was in the works before they came in. They'll probably ruin it though.

This was in the plans before this administration. Permanent human presence on the moon has beennin the works since the Artemis program began. They'll probably ruin it, but it's not like they pulled it out of nowhere. Canada is also participating in this endeavour.

The technology exists for mitigating the environmental impact. This is an issue that can be solved with good building science, an area in which Canada has plenty of home-grown talent to draw from. Easy peasy
July 10, 2025 at 6:21 PM
I think this is fine. What's the issue? The point is to keep the same service level or add more capacity, just in a more efficient way.

If someone wants to do 80 on 40 zone on Mount Pleasant, they will regardless of speed notice sign. They will maybe slow to 60 at the sign then speed back up to a "comfortable" pace. There have to be consequences for putting other people's lives in danger.
June 26, 2025 at 10:20 AM
It would not be if they were not speeding.

Remove the portion for operations and maintenance. It's like $10B. Even with the remaining, yes we could build multiple lines.
June 24, 2025 at 3:18 PM
Fail fast looks bad aesthetically, however, you do end up with all the rough lessons learned and a working end product faster. We should do more of this in Canada.
