Also, if either Neemy or Garza got hurt for an extended period of time, we'd have been in some real trouble. Since the trade, I've gotten a lot more comfy with the idea that we needed a third legit big than another scoring guard off the bench.

Sadly, a wartime luxury we can no longer afford. I still embrace the times of the week when I can watch the Celtics and spend a few minutes on social media talking about it, but there are now larger games afoot.

Also seems like his overall play (defense, chasing down loose balls) has picked up as he's gotten more comfortable in his role off the bench. He's been a good professional since he got here. Kudos.

Not so much in the South. At my southern university in the 1970s the Young GOP outnumbered the Young Dems by about 10-1. Even the YAF org on campus was a lot bigger. Must have been the warmer weather, I mean, what else could explain it?
