I love what they did with the Avalanche trio, the best way they could have expanded those characters. You really come to love and care about them over the ~30 hours it takes to get to that scene

Also man this game is really pushing the PS4 to its limits, this poor console is doing its best but I sure do feel the difference after mostly playing games on PC for years. My laptop (rest in peace) ran games better than this 😔 not a fault of the PS4 just the way things go. Love you PS4.

Love all the new Aerith stuff, expanded Wall Market was a lot of fun, I miss silly shit like houses popping up in random battles but the house boss fight was really sick and a cute ode to the original anyway

Plotting in the hee hee hoo hoo way not the narrative way, but I guess that way also. It’s been a couple years since I tried to make a video game I wanna do that again for a month or two.

The combat is excellent you don’t need me to say what everybody has already said, they nailed it and it’s fun and I love it very very much, I just wanna see some variety please I’m starving

You’ve shown me Shinra Man With Gun and his pet robot a hundred times, put some kind of freak in here too, an imp or perhaps a goblin of some kind

I fear they have optimized all the weirdness out of the game, as they always do. I wouldn’t mind the extended series of gray railway rooms as much if there was some weird shit down here, they should really have taken inspiration from games like Final Fantasy when designing encounters
