Of all the things that AI is taking from us, I resent that it is robbing us of the ability to point at this T-shirt which says ARE YOU BELIEVE THAT GHOSTS EXISTS? 3 different and strange ways, and say, this is a result of a series of choices another human being has made!!

GIFT GUIDE: The Met has a Medusa T-shirt (at the museum only, which is good because the print is not as sharp in person)

From the Met: Reimagined on our stylish tee is Antonio Canova's (Italian, 1757–1822) Perseus with the Head of Medusa (1804–6). This imposing sculpture in The Met collection celebrates the Greek hero Perseus's victory over the monstrous Gorgon feared for her hair made of snakes and her deathly gaze that turned anyone she looked at to stone. Canova masterfully commemorates Perseus's triumph over Medusa, whose likeness has long served as an image of evil to repel evil. Canova was universally acknowledged as the preeminent sculptor of his era, and this monumental sculpture reflects his admiration for the art of antiquity.

Washington Square Parking Lot, circa 1960s. At the peak of the nation's car culture fixation in the 60's and a long renovation planning process, the park was put into use as a parking lot. Some say this was an effort to keep hippies from gathering there.

Wokeness in 1860 (at JP Morgan's Library in NYC) - The Wide Awakes, a political group of anti- slavery young white men, is now credited with helping secure Lincoln's Republican presidential nomination.
Pamphlet from 1860 currently on display at the Morgan Library in NYC. It's a long rectangle and says WIDE AWAKE 1860 and has an illustration of a sexy smoky eye between WIDE and AWAKE Exhibition Text: OPENING AMERICA'S EYES Inspired by an 1860 anti- slavery speech from presidential candidate Abraham Lincoln in Hartford, a group of young white men established the political organization the Wide Awakes. Their symbol was a wide-open eye, an image that was increasingly associated with astrologers and fortune tellers. The Wide Awakes' embrace of the open eye symbol reflected their call for citizens to develop their own vision to address the important moral and political issues of the time - principally slavery - and to create their own futures and fortunes. The organization is now credited with helping to secure Lincoln's Republican presidential nomination.
