I still feel the Dutch protocol is a compromise position, but that’s more so because it mandates tanner stage 2 > blockers > HRT when realistically most patients should just go tanner stage 2 > HRT.

Honestly my gut response to that was “What dumb ass country would allow HRT but not blockers” to which was immediately answered because of the current situation with the UK…

I don’t think the argument is that we shouldn’t offer blockers to those who need them (like yourself), but rather, a trans girl who has been out and living as a girl for years shouldn’t have to wait till 14 to start puberty when her friends did so at 10-12.

These people gladly support trans people’s rights, but only AFTER they have gotten the chance to poke and prod every single possible way to avoid it.

When I was in college for engineering they made us go to a presentation by each of the engineering diciplines.
Mine opened with “We get to break things” and immediately broke something.
I figured being able to break things was worth the cost of linear algebra.

I have since been blocked by Ari, so I guess he can continue listening to cis people instead of the large number of trans people who are telling him that whats happened is transphobic.
