I’m old enough to remember naively trusting that our government was full of public servants that chose that job because they cared about the people they were there to serve.

They won’t pay taxes in support of their city but they will spend millions to “not” pay taxes and not address cost of living for everyone else. Shows you exactly who they are and how much they care about “their” city.
