In this particular instance I don’t think this applies. Porter chose not to run for re-election in the House and instead ran for senate. She finished 3rd in the primary, behind Adam Schiff, who ultimately won and will be a great (I hope) senator.

I do agree that having to transition to a new QB in the playoffs is rough. I think they did better with Stockton than they would have with Beck.
